  • I'm so happy for you! I was banded on 7/15/08 and I'm down 71 pounds. Best decision I ever made. Going the surgery route really helped me take weight loss seriously.
  • Best of Luck to You!!
Just think how much better you'll feel, I'm so happy for you - good luck, speedy recovery & God bless the doctors and nurses too!
  • According to what I heard when you set up seating for the public, they allow 21 inches!!!!! Well, guess what your new bottom with fit just fine in that 21 inch seat with room to spare!!! Scooching over for you! Hope to hear from you soon.
  • Hope it went well & that you’re on the mend.
  • I'm finally on the bench!
Surgery went great, everything is where it's supposed to be and I'm feeling pretty good. I learned how to give myself shots (lovenox) Looking forward to a few days off work and taking some walks. Maybe I can start thinking about Christmas gifts, now. Thanks for all your support. We're awesome!

Guess I should get serious about a ticker, too
  • i HATE lovenox! how long are you going to be taking it? when will they transition you to coumadin????

    congrats!!!!!!!
  • CONGRATS to you!!!! Hope you are doing well???!!! I was glad to hear that all went smoothly. I just came home yesterday and am fascinated reading all the posts from the other new patients. Please, Please keep us informed
I only had the lovenox in the hospital, and nothing for it after I got out. Is this not normal?
  • I had a DVT after my hysterectomy in '03 hence the lovenox. I don't think I'll have to go on coumiden once I'm done in 25 days. It's going to get old real quick.
  • So glad to hear everything turned out well!!!! And yes, put up a ticker now! I can't wait to see the numbers drop!

Woohoo!!!! Now for the work! Sip, Sip, Sip...walk walk walk...lose lose lose!

    Hug for you honey!

    Angela
