i'm coming to visit in June and july and im looking for some tips on hot ALTERNATIVE night spots (mainly punk/rock venues if poss) and great healthy restaurants and good shopping places/cafes to just sit and take the world in from.

i cant wait im so excited as we will be in New York on 4th July
