Good morning, everyone! Day 1 of Thanksgiving break for me and I'm so excited!
Lori: Aww, new kitties! I'm allergic, so we'll probably never have one, but they sure are cute! WTG getting payroll done so efficiently! I'm sure it'll get easier as the weeks go by.
Cat: You're right; that is a neat gym. I wish we had something like that out here. Enjoy your time with your friend! Nothing like waiting for the paint to day with a buddy!
Cottage: Dinner for 40?! Thank goodness Cindy has help! I bet the girls are the belles of that feast! I'm more of a stay-at-home-make-it-all-yourself kinda gal. Not that I'd ever have the budget for 40 people a year! Enjoy your busy day!
Kiko: Well, you'll be together and that's what counts. Although, no leftover turkey dishes for a week does sound like a bummer. I'm sure it will be enjoyable either way. Your DD's birthday party sounds like it will be a BLAST! Can I tag along?
Ruth: I love watching puppies in fresh snow. Our dogs get pretty spazzed out about it! I think the paw-print pj's could be a new trend. And we all know bed-head is "in" on the runways!

Have a great day and stay safe!
Cyndi: That's a great deal on squash! Is it for decor or for cooking (or both?) I'm dying for some butternut squash soup, but we haven't gotten any in for a while. Hope you have a nice day at work and at tea!
rdw: Awwww,

! I wish your back was better. If it were me, I'd probably head back to the dr. It just seems like this has been bothering you far too long. Hope that, whatever you choose, the back pain subsides SOON!
Me: Well, our bags are packed, the dogs bags (yes, plural) are packed and the car is full of gas ($1.77 a gallon; can you believe it?!?) I woke up earlier than usual, which I normally do when we're going on a trip. The dogs were nice and cozy in front of the wall heater and barely lifted their heads when I got up. Then, after I had showered, made coffee and got breakfast, I had to literally shove them out the door. Stinkers. They'd better enjoy it! They've got a 7-hour car ride ahead of them!
I'm doing my best to get prepared now for the next few days. The parents love to spoil us with good food, so I sent a request of lots of eggs, turkey bacon, salad and veggies. They prefer chicken and fish, so we should be safe in the protein department. I'm going to make enough ww biscuits tonight to last us the week. That should have us set. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm slowly trying to transition back to SBD. I've been relying on my Slim Fast shakes a little too much since September when I started taking them on business trips. Time to get back to REAL food!
Well, I'm off to check the bank account and make sure we're going to have $$ to make it home!

Have a great day everyone!!
~Kim
ETA: Hi Sophie and Lisa! We were simul-posting! Hope you both have a great day!!
