75 pounds down - So far!!!

  • Thought I'd share my success so far. As of my WW weigh-in last night, I've lost 75.4 lbs!

    How am I doing it?
I've been a Weight Watcher since Dec of 99 and have only missed weighing in one week (had to because of a business trip). I stay for meetings most of the time, and I'm a faithful journaller. Since I've always been a compulsive list-maker, journalling comes pretty naturally. And a BIG help has been that, for the last 25 lbs of this loss, my husband has been a weight watcher too. So now, counting points has just become a part of our lifestyle, together.

I still have about 50 lbs or so left I want to lose, but I know now that I can do it!

    Thanks for celebrating with me,

  • Thanks for your support everyone.

Yup, I do feel great! Yes, I'm way lighter so that affects how I feel physically but I'm also in much better shape. I forgot to mention that I've been exercising regularly since Feb of this year, and I believe I have much more energy than before. I often catch myself thinking along the lines of "I can't believe how much I've done today -- and I still feel like going for a walk!" Talk about a great fringe benefit.

I posted at 50 and will definitely post again here at 100. I'm looking forward to it!

  • Flib,

I echo all of the above replies to you. You deserve one hardy applause for an AWESOME job of doing something nice for you!!! I wonder why we sometimes "fall off the wagon" . . . especially when we know how neat great it feels to get compliments about our looks, etc., when we are "sticking with it" and losing. 'Spose I'd be rich if I could figure that out, huh?

CONGRATULATIONS and ((HUGS)) to you. Thanks for the motivation.
