Hello everyone.
My name is Megan and I was oblivious of this forum until today, when a co-worker suggested it.
I am very recently engaged and I have always wanted to loose the extra weight that I know I don't need and shouldn't have. I now have a date in which I want to look my best by, I have some time so I'm not looking for something quick fix and drastic, I am just looking for the support that my finace can't give me. He wants to loose some weight as well...but I know I will be discouraged by how much he looses compared to me.
I look forward to getting to know others who are in the same boat, have been in the same boat, and who are paddling for shore.

Hi Megan and welcome to 3FC! Your co-worker did a good thing referring you here. I know you will love it just like the rest of us. Theres a lot of great support here and plenty of experience with so many different weight loss plans. I hope you find one that works for you and that your happy with, because if your not happy your not going to stick to it. Have you got a plan or an idea of how your going to go about losing weight? Good luck! I know you'll do great!

Aww, thanks for all the warm welcomes! I don't know my coworkers name on here, but when I find her I'll let you know...haha.
I don't know of a plan yet? All I know is that I"m not happy right now, and I want to be.
Thank you for the congratulations...I've definitely made more than enough excuses to hold off on loosing weight...and now I have more than enough excuses to jump on the bandwagon and get my butt moving. A few points in the right directions could help greatly...as I don't really know where to start.
