a simple trick to keep ya from messing up on calories for halloween...

  • I've been skimming through posts of a lot of fellow three-fat-chickies worried about overeating or those who feel like they blew it on junk food (either at work or at the house handing out sweets) (*I hear ya on that score!)

Honestly, what I do is just get a bag of mini-cups of play dough or individually wrapped small toys from the store and hand 'em out to the kids.

That way, they still get something and I don't become tempted to eat the junk leftover from Halloween night.

I hope everyone had a GREAT Halloween!
  • what a great idea....
makes it better on the kids teeth that way too!....
  • But you *know* some kids are gonna eat it anyway But seriously, they do hand out waaay to much candy. I was out with my sister yesterday, and people kept giving her 2 1/2 year old 5 or 6 pieces each. Not only is it too much candy, I think it's just already teaching her not to be satisfied.
  • Personally.. I think no candy is the best avoidance method..cause once I start, sometimes I can't stop. The sugar switches me ON.
