Hi there
Looking for some ideas on why it's now taking me an extra 5 minutes to walk the same route/distance that I have been walking now for months.
Would clothes be a factor? During the warmer days I would wear shorts and a tank. With the cooler weather now I am wearing long pants, t shirt and sweater.
My stride and pace are exactly the same.
Any insight would be appreciated.

If your stride and pace were exactly the same, your speed would be the same, so one of those has changed. Even a very slight variation in the length of your stride or your speed would make a difference over the entire length you're walking.
My guess is that the longer clothes are more constricting, and have therefore decreased your stride length a bit, so each step covers just a bit less distance. Even if your pace stayed the same, this would have an effect.

Maybe your body has hit a plateau in progress .. or like you said clothes could be a factor.
Do you find you still do the route with the same level of energy?
