I admit..

  • I have some physiological problems when it comes to my body image. I feel fat no matter what people say. Whenever I over-eat I make myself throw-up or some days I'll eat whatever I want and puke again. I don't throw-up everyday but at least 4-5 times a month.
    I never reached my goal of 120 lbs. I was always between 124 and 128.
    I over -ate today and didn't puke and I'm really depressed because of this. I don't know what to do.
  • You should see the Chicks in Control forum here on 3FC. It's not my place to diagnose you or anyone else for that matter, so I'm sorry if this seems out of line, but throwing up after eating sounds suspiciously like bulemia. The Chicks in Control forum is full of understanding people that are familiar with eating disorders of all types. You might be suprised to see how many people can relate to your situation. Since you are here, I'm guessing your getting tired of throwing up. That's good, because you shouldn't use that as a way to lose weight, and it won't get you any healthier. Go to the Chicks in Control forum.
  • Gogirl008, thanks for replying. Don't get me wrong. I don't always throw-up. I usually eat very healthy but some days I just feel like eating whatever I want and that's when the "bulumia" starts.

  • That kind of behavior is definitely troublesome. Normal people don't eat and then make themselves throw up--I'd say that you need to stop doing it.

    You might also consider some counseling IRL. Many therapists specialize in eating disorders these days.
