Recommitting Too!

  • So... I've been extremely lax for the last two weeks -- I've hardly worked out and I've only kinda watched my food. I got married on Oct 12th and though it's somewhat understandable that my diet would be on the backburner under those circumstances (so I'm not beating myself up too much), it's time to get back on the horse. I had a wonderful wedding (I will post pictures, when I get them) and a great honeymoon too, but now I'm back and ready to restart before I actually gain weight.

    So... my public declaration:

    1. I will post daily accountability updates on my newly started (but probably totally uninteresting) blog.

    2. I commit to at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. That doesn't mean that I will be perfect, but I will sincerely try.

    3. I commit to planning my day's food in advance and sticking to it to the best of my ability.

    4. I commit to controlling my snacking as much as possible.

    5. I commit to not throwing away my food and exercise commitment just because work is stressful, school is demanding and I have a million things to do.

Okay... so that is my commitment. And now that it's public, I can't pretend it doesn't exist. It starts today.

Thanks for listening/reading and keeping me accountable!

  • Congratulations on your wedding! Your goals look great and should be doable. I hereby commit myself to:

    1. Read your blog

    2. Admire you (silently or not) while you show that you are working for all of your goals.
  • Congrats, KLK!

I gained a whopping 8 pounds in the week before and after mine (and it wasn't water retention). But hey, it was well worth it.

Welcome back and don't forget about those pictures
