Trying it the right way this time

  • Just to keep my mind on track I have decided to join a community. So hello, I am Millah I am 16, 5’10 and around 210. Frankly this upsets me. I find myself not even looking in the mirror anymore because I don’t like what is looking back at me.

    I could do what I did about two years back and simply not eat; I literally lived off of green tea till I got deathly sick. But you see, I don’t want to be that person either so I am trying a more healthy way to go about it.

    But I’m not seeing any results in fact it seems like I am gaining weight. This of course frustrates me because I know what I COULD do to lose the weight.

    But alas if my girlfriend finds that I am not eating I sincerely fear the consequences.

    So she (who is a freaking twig) and I are both keeping daily Food Journals, Working Out and I am cutting my calorie intake. Apparently my intake still a little to low, but it is “acceptable”.

    My current goal is 130- 140 again, I liked myself when I weighed that much. I was confident and happy. I just want that again. 70 pounds lighter, let’s see if I can pull this off the healthy way (to the most part)
  • Righto, I’ve been here for about and hour and I’ve got myself all planned out. I’m posting my self-challenge to keep myself going. Keep it as a reminder as to what I am doing.

    First I am cutting out all carbonated drinks and replacing them with decaffeinated/ non sweetened Green tea. This isn’t much of a challenge acutely because I don’t drink soda all that much and green tea is like my addiction. I know it is good for detox and it tastes yummy.

    Second I will be doing 100 sit-ups in the morning and before I go to bed.

    Third I am doing the Push up challenge hundredpushups.com I got this from fauxtini.

    And I will be running for 30 mins in the morning before I go to class.

    Plus my yoga meditation sessions I can’t live with out.

    It’s not much but seems like a good start.

    Wow, you are organized! Good for you! I think you've got some great plans. And I hear ya re: the twig girlfriend.

    Make sure you're getting enough calories. You can really mess up your metabolism if you don't consume enough, and the whole weight-loss thing can backfire on you.
