I'm 27 and looking at getting married in a few months. I'm also 397 lbs, at the current moment. I've got the dress, and I don't have to lose weight to get into it, it fits perfectly --- the big thing I want to be able to do is to look awesome, not flabby and unattractive like I do now in it.
At the same time, I'd like to start my married life healthier, and continue down the path to weight loss and health with my husband to be. He's diabetic and trying to keep his weight under control as well.
I think the biggest obstacle I have is my boredom -- I eat when I'm bored, and I can't seem to break myself of this. I've even taken to fiddling with scrapbooking and such to keep my fingers occupied and I'm still drawn to the fridge.
I need help, and some encouragement. My fiance is great as far as supporting me, but not so great on helping with the diet.
