  • I'm baaaack!

    On the one had that's good news cause it means I can chat with all of you on a daily basis. On the other it's bad news 'cause the reason I'm back is because I've put on 5 lbs. in 6 weeks .

    Most of the weight came back because I relaxed my calorie counting. I thought maintenance meant I could just eyeball everything and give myself a whole bunch more treats .

    Some severe stress, a vacation, and going on a new hormone all contributed. But the main thing was not counting the calories .

    We just had our Thanksgiving - it's actually today but I did the big meal yesterday so I could start fresh today. Same old for me - counting the calories and writing everything down to come in under 1500 every day should take me down to goal by Christmas.

    I didn't see this type of thread in the latest postings . If you've moved to something new please describe what you all are doing now.

  • Dagmar! hello again! Good to see you, although I was hoping it would be when I joined maintainers. I haven't been in the featherweights thread for a long time, it kinda died out (as you can see) and just became the challenges.

    5 lbs is no sweat! You can get those right back off. =)

    Yeah, I can see this forum has changed. I have lost 2 of the 5 and the "maintaining" gang didn't want me to leave so I'm back there.

    Iris, you can join in there if you want. Everyone is sorta hanging at a range of weight, not just one number. Quite a few of the featherweights are there now and more are probably lurking. I'm too much of a blabber mouth to do that
