You can totally tell a huge difference from the before & after pics. DON'T GET DISCOURAGED! People tend to be too over critical of themselves. YOU may not see it, but the rest of us totally can. I feel your pain, it was my childbirth that brought me from 150 to 210 and then like you I gained another 20 on top of that. Stick with whatever you are doing, it is showing big time! Keep up the good work!

I get this question all the time when people ask me which diet I'm on and I say the South Beach Diet. It's not hard, it just takes a lot of willpower and patience to get through just like any other diet. I will admit that Phase 1 was not easy for me to get through since I had to totally change the way I was eating. Eliminating all the "bad" stuff going cold turkey was the best thing that has ever happened to me in my World of dieting. After P1 was over I weighed myself and 10lbs was gone. At that point I was hooked!!!

I don't think I'll be gaining this weight back because I love the way I look now. I looked absolutely horrible 3 months ago - woof woof! I still have more weight to lose so I'm going to focus on that. I will post update pics at the beginning of next month because I'm anxious to see my own progress.

I've started once again on SB. Last year I lost 19lbs and gained it all back plus 6

then at the begining of september i started ph 1 and lost 8 but gained 3lb back. (no will power sometimes)

back on ph1 since Monday and I've got to do it this time....shoot my knees are starting to hurt. I need to lose 50lbs.

Thanks! I was 190 when I posted my pics. Today I'm 193.2 but that's just from some normal fluctuating so it's OK. A lot of people don't think I'm heavy because I'm tall, but I am. I can feel it when I run and it's why I don't run...but I will get into that very soon.
