Hi--I'm a mom to a 21 month old girl. She's the best thing in my life, but I find that being a mom to a toddler presents its own unique set of challenges when it comes to weight loss.
Some of the challenges that come to mind are:
-squeezing in any "me" time, particularly time for exercise.
-not finishing the food on her plate when she leaves half of it behind.
-just being too tired at the end of the day and either overeating or avoiding exercise.
Can anyone else relate? Any tips/suggestions for things that have worked for you?
Thanks,
Shari

I still have a problem eating what my daughter doesn't eat. I've gotten better with it at home because I have a rule that if she doesn't eat it, the dogs get it.
I work 12 hr shifts 3 days a week so I am getting up at 5:25am and she goes to bed around 8-8:30 pm. At this point I can barely make it to the chair so exercise is laughable! On the days I am home I have the same problem of finding time. Her naps are unpredictable because apparently she thinks being three makes her independent. If I do her to take a nap I would have to find the living room floor before I could pop in a tape. I know that it is a lot of excuses but I need help! I know what I need to do but it is so daunting that it is hard to get myself motiviated. Any advise?
