Newcomer

  • Hey there all,

I am a newcomer to 3FC.Unlike some of the forum users I don't know how much I weigh or how much I have lost already as I have been successfully changing lifestyle and eating habits since May this year. I see a dietician who weighs me and records it but I choose not to know the outcome.
I don't know about you, but knowing my weight messes with my head bigtime.
I will probably put some kind of measurment up but used waist in inches or something as I have lost just over 5 inches from my waist so far.
Am I the only one who doesn't follow scales?

Good luck everyone, keep up the fight.
  • Hello and

I'm glad you've joined us. You are the first person I've met here that doesn't know/want to know what they weigh. There are some that weigh once a month, once a week and even some that weigh everyday. All are welcome here at 3FC!

It sounds like you are making some good, positive changes in your life.

Take a look around and jump in where ever you feel comfortable. I can't wait to get to know you better.
  • Hi and to the site.
  • Hello! I'm New As Well!! And
  • Welcome, Tenacious!

I know there are a few others around here that don't like to weigh. You're unusual, but not alone.
I weigh once a day, but I know my scale is wrong. Low. But it doesn't matter to me... it's about seeing the numbers move down. I was at my doctor's the other day, and I kept thinking, "Please don't weigh me... please don't weigh me..." (he didn't, thank goodness) I don't want to know what I really weigh. I just want to see progress.

Congratulations on your smaller waist!! Keep up the good work!!
