  • did everybody have leftover veggie pizza for breakfast this weekend?

I have to confess that I did have numerous "slivers" of cold margarita pizza (I guess those tomatoes count as veggies) throughout the weekend. the spirit is willing but the flesh is oh so weak. then I had to go bathingsuit shopping....no comment
  • Yeah, I noticed that too! Pretty amazing; gmta. We get those prebaked crusts at Sam's (2 pts per 1/6) and load 'em with peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and just a little mozzarella.
  • Janet, your version of pizza sounds a lot less pointy than the one I had. I have to make my own. Good idea!
  • i have to admit that I make my own pizza sauce and toppings, but I have started to buy pizza dough from the dessert place by my work.

However, this is the most uninspired pizza we have made in eons. I don't even think the rest will be eaten.

I have to admit, I can lots of tomatoes (sauce and whole) and use them for pizza sauce. I usually pile the pizza with grilled eggplant, spinach, red peppers, onions, mushrooms, mozz (not skim) and goat cheese. Sometimes we add sausage, sometimes not. DP is a whiz at making thin crusts, so they are pretty low points. She likes them less saucy and more cheesy. Me less.

    okay, enough now.

If I went to sams, I would spend 50 bucks - 3 on pizza crusts and 47 on some gadget we don't need. I stay away from places like that - which explains why I don't have any slick gadgets.
