Tonight's Discussion: Aren't you worth it?
Oh it's that "A" word, again. I can hear screams the likes of horror movies have never seen, and it's not even Halloween!
"Activity". Yes, yes, exercise. Are you one of those people who say "I've got the Points/Foods under control... it's the exercise that I just don't wanna do." Then my dears, this topic is for you!One of the key components of WW is moving more. Doing a little something extra each day that we wouldn't have considered before our lifestyle change. We've heard it before, haven't we?
What are some of the activities that you do now? Any activity. Even something as small as parking the car farther away from a store so we have to walk.
Do you think that having fun when you're being active helps keep you going?
Having fun not only makes us want to do activities, but keeps us going back to them, and actually relaxes us more than if we force ourselves onto the "dreadmill" every day. If we don't like a certain exercise, we don't feel good while doing it, we're less likely to do it again, and we're more likely to feel stressed if we have to force ourselves to do it more. Not a good combo.
What are things you used to do as a kid to have fun outdoors? Would you ever consider picking them up again to move more? They count!
We all know the benefits of exercise... listing them would be redundant. We all already know. But, do we realize that we're worth the time & energy it can take to make ourselves healthier? We are worth it! There's no reason to put it off any longer.
Go outside, and have fun!

What do you guys think?

) and we'd get to this crack in our drive way, turn around and ride down the hill.
I also loved hopscotch, playing Red Rover, skating, playing kickball, and riding my bike.
