First Day

  • Hi. I'm Rachael and I feel all weird typing this, I haven't been on a new message board in YEARS and it's strange. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. Today's my first day on South Beach. Yesterday was my first day, too, as were Sunday and Saturday. I'm not totally insane, I promise. I've just decided that I'm going to pretend that each day is the first day of my new way of eating because I can always get through first day. Eventually I won't need to tell myself that, but whatever works for now.

    I want to lose 100lbs, and since my first first day, I'm down about 3. I weigh daily because otherwise I put blinders up and don't adjust when I screw up. So that's all. Hi.

    You may also want to visit our 100 lb club, a group for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more.

    3 lbs is a great start and you're definitely on your way! Can't wait to see you around more soon!
