Hi UK people!

  • Hello!

    I wanted to introduce myself to you guys, as I hope you'll be seeing/hearing a lot from me over the next while as I try to lose weight! I hope all your efforts have been successful so far...and, if they have, send some of your mojo my way, Lord knows I need it!!

    I'ma 22 yr old uni student who need to lose about 25 lbs...the starting big goal is one stone, and my first mini goal is 7 lbs...wish me luck guys!!

    How are you all doing? Any tips? Does this website do weekly challenges/weigh ins?

  • welcome.It is always best to break all weight loss into mini goals.So each 7lbs is a great mini goal and doesn't seem as daunting as 25lb .So all the best in your weight loss goals and keep us updated

  • Thanks guys! I'm doing ok so far in my first day...been to the gym and cooked a healthy baked salmon and stir fry dinner for the family, woohoo! It'll take all my strength to avoid my usual evening snacking (without a doubt my biggest diet downfall) so I'm doing a good job keeping myself occupied by reading this forum--followed by a walk with a friend--result!! :-)
