Weight Loss take 2!

  • Ok,
    here i go again as i said before my wedding in May. I have decided to do my diet over again using LA weight loss. My mom did LAWL and started in 2000 when my sister was born and lost over 150 pounds. She is now a size 2 and has kept it off for 7 years. So i thought what the heck i can do it.

    Today is day 2 of my "jet start" I am doing the old version of Jet Start with the 2 eggs a day, 2 oranges and all the beef, chicken, and turkey i can eat a day fried in butter. I am doing VERY WELL and i have not even wanted to cheat. that might sound stupid but for me not to sneek anything in there is a BIG deal for me.

    Tomorrow is my last day and then the diet begins. I cant wait to see how things go. Please wish me luck, lord know i need it.

    One question, has anyone ever noticed when you are on a diet that all of the sudden arbys and mcdonalds and burger king look really good and you dont even eat there much..LOL

  • lol, you have a baby sister and you are in your twenties? I do too! I thought I was a loner! Em is nine and I am 27. She is my bestest friend!

    I know nothing about LAWL... but did you just say fried in butter?

  • It doesn't sound stupid to mention not cheating - I think everyone has problems with it (I know I do!), especially during the first few days.

    & stuff like that totally looks & sounds better when you begin a diet... I think especially if it's a restrictive diet, because then you know you can't have them & you don't know when you'll be able to again... so it makes them more tempting.. at least for me

    & I'm curious to know about the fried in butter thing too... is it a metabolism boost for before the diet? or something else entirely?

    The Fried in butter thing is for metabolism boost with the protein. I was suppose to weigh in tomorrow and see what i had lost these three days but i did it today and i am already down 5 pounds.

    i know my mom did awesome with it,and she looks great but my problem is that i dont like lettuce, celery or any of that kinda stuff, so now i have made up my mind that i have to do it, like it or not.

    Today is my last day of "jet start" and then i start on the regular diet phase of LAWL. since we dont have any LAWL here in PA anymore i have been buying my LAWL bars on ebay. I am taking it that there are other LAWL places open out west some where.
