Im starving! lol

  • I don't know whats going on with my body the past couple days, it is pre-TOM so maybe thats why, but I was wondering if maybe it was because I had that ww pasta a couple days ago- surely that wouldn't still be causing cravings? I have tried to basically be eating P1 foods to keep my cravings under control, but I feel like I could eat a freakin cow( a veggie cow, of course!)
  • I'm not sure what you can have in SB unfortunately... but I love having the Progresso 0 weight watcher point soups... they are filling and usually about 100 cal for a large bowl! There is like 6 kinds... hopefully this helps!

  • rdw1, it's possible that WW pasta could cause cravings for you. Each person's body is different. I've met people who say they can't have wheat, or can't have fruit, or can't have brown rice. It just depends.

How does your hunger feel, though? Is it a hollowness in your stomach with gurgling sounds? If so, it sounds like physical hunger, not just cravings. That would mean you just aren't eating enough. You're never supposed to be hungry on this plan. I see you're vegetarian. Are you getting enough protein? Veggies can fill you up, but they are processed pretty fast, so you don't stay full for long. You need protein for that.

A couple thoughts--try putting your daily meal into fitday to see how many calories you're getting. Each person is different, but you definitely want to get more than 1200 a day. Also, try posting a daily menu here so we can take a look.

If your hunger feels more in your head or is a persistant craving, either the WW pasta could be the culprit or maybe some sugar snuck into your diet. Do a couple days of P1 and then try again.
  • I agree with Laurie, but would like to add this:

When I was starting P2, if I felt that way I would eat something high in protein (hard boiled egg or slice of turkey) and then leave the kitchen. I turned the lights off and would go for a walk, or work in my garden...something to get my mind off the craving.

Cravings are very much a mental thing and if not answered, the craving monster will eventually stop calling.

    Good luck
