First day!

  • Today is day 1 of trying to eat better. Which, I just found out, will be harder because I'm being treated to Red Lobster. I'll just have to find myself a good seafood salad!

    Usually the meal that kicks me in the butt in lunch. I end up having some microwaved leftovers or fatty chicken nuggets or something. BUT...today I was good!

    I was happy to realize our last can of cream of chicken soup was, in fact, 98% fat free. Instead of using all milk to thin it, I used half-milk, half-water. I also tossed in some frozen broccoli and a slice of fat-free American cheese Then to drink, I had a bottle of water with some lime juice in it. I'm really proud of myself!
  • Way to go. Having good food you enjoy (that is also healthy) is important in your diet. Otherwise, you wont stick with it. Keep up the good work!
  • Red Lobster has some low calorie soptions that are delicious. Go to their web site before you go out to pick what you will eat. then you will be safe No-no to the garlic butter though.
