Salad dressing question...

  • What exactly do they mean by "low carb salad dressing". How many carbs per serving is "low"?

Also, what is more important, low carb or low cal?

Example: 160 cals with 0 carbs (Marie's chuncky blue cheese) vs. 120 cals with 2 carbs (Kraft blue cheese)

How do you determine which is better for the plan?

    Thanks,

    Lacy

Edit: Never mind. I found it. 6 gm of carbs (or less) and 5 gm fat (or less) can be used as a healthy fat serving.
  • Good topic though - what are your favorite salad dressings that are acceptable for L&G?
  • I use Walden Farms, but they count as a condiment and not a fat serving, but the longer on plan the better they taste. They now sell them at Kroger too! I hear Newman's Own Light and Light Done Right by Kraft are also Excellent! Best of Luck! Dan
