What have you been able to do that you couldn't before?

    I just noticed the thread on what people are looking forward to once they lose weight, and I was wondering what people have already been able to do because of the weight they've lost so far? I was able to move from shopping in the plus sizes to the regular sizes (I'm 14s and 12s now)!
  • I have been able to comfortably sit an airplane seat without being squished!

    I also was able to wrap a towel around me that wasn't a beach towel! This is a huge victory for me.... the towel doesn't completely cover me yet, but at least it will stay tied around my chest!
  • I bought a pair of shorts to actually wear in public
  • I can jog four miles. I can run a lot faster around the bases and to get to a flyball. I have become a better eater and a better feeder for my 14-month old baby. We are in a clementine orange phase. I don't get winded running up and down the stairs. One thing I am not doing is spending loads of money on beautifying my house. I did that a lot because I was so depressed shopping for clothes. I am also fitting in smaller clothes. The lower I go in size, the more clothes I can find. Like, I found a pair of shorts that looked great the other day. There were probably four times as many size 6 and under than there were 12, 10, and 8.
  • Mowing the lawn! It used to destroy me, now I am not even out of breath when I'm done!
  • I can enjoy a nice long bike ride with my six year old son.

    I can wear shirts that don't cover my bum. Before I lost weight there was no way I would let anybody see my huge rear, now I'm practically booty shakin to get people to look at it! LMAO!!
    • Bend over and pick things up without a wall for support
    • Hike with my kids
    • Do dishes without leaning on the sink
    • Walk to work without getting winded
    • Run up the stairs
    • Weed my garden without getting on my knees
    • Pilates
    • Enjoy clothes shopping
    • Wear shorts and tank tops and belts
    • Eat without feeling guilty
    • Enjoy airline travel
    • Help DH with building projects
    • Cross my legs comfortably
    • Trim and paint my toenails
  • Wow... So many things. Complete TBL workout video, jog for 20 minutes non stop. Walk for 45 non stop, go up stairs, run around with my boyfriend, ride my dirtbike without feeling like I'm dying everytime I have to pick it up... So many little things as well!
