That is my bra size. I just have a few Danskin plus size sport bras that I got on lanebryant.com (they don't sell them in the store) and I always wear two at a time.

I'm ordering a couple that are on clearance at shopadidas.com - $19 each isn't bad for a good quality sports bra. If you go to the outlet section of the site and search for "plus", you'll see the bras.

I'm probably too late to help, but I'm pretty new here and just saw your post while browsing the site. Perhaps someone else will find it helpful. I am also a 40DD and, as a result, have never been comfortable exercising - even walking at a fast pace. I did some research and found that the Fiona by Moving Comfort was highly rated by several running magazines and many, many runners. However,I don't feel so constricted that I can't breathe. It's actually very comfortable and I can't even say that about some of my regular bras!
