I do fine with my diet all day long and then, about an hour or two before I go to sleep, when I'm winding down, I blow it. Does anyone else do this?
absolutely! I hate that. Lately I save an ice cream treat for before bed, like a Skinny Cow dessert or hot chocolate with marshmallow creme.
wow, you look great, how long did it take to lose the 49 pounds?
Oh, my avatar is my favorite athlete, Lokelani McMichael. I am hoping after I lose another 10 or 15, I will look a little more chiseled like her. I really started dieting when I was 184 pounds on April 7, 2008. The first almost 20 just melted off after I had my son. I thought I looked fine until I saw a pic of myself (seems to be the breaking point for a lot of women). I started WW at home (I didn't want to pay for the program because I felt I was pretty strong willed already -- I would rather spend that cash on new jeans).
I started walking that very same day for about 45 minutes every night. Now I jog every night for about 45 minutes to an hour if I am not already playing ball. I am in the best shape I have been in since I was 23 (I'm 28 now). I had never been successful at losing weight before. WW has been a huge weight off my shoulders, literally. It is just very easy for me to stick with. I even cheat and pizza once or twice a month. Well, it's not cheating if you stay within points. I just don't beat myself up for too long for cheating because the next meal is a new chance to start fresh.
The first pic is from two weeks ago. I have lost about five more pounds. The second pic is from the day I started the diet. Don't you love my belly hanging out. That pic makes me laugh now.
