Good Morning All
I broke down last night and had spaghetti for dinner, this morning I woke up feeling like I had much more energy than earlier this week. Does low carb = no energy? I hope not, I can't live with this feeling of exhaustion if I have to eat low carb. How do you other ladies with PCOS manage it?
I start South Beach on Sunday (going to a concert Saturday that will involve eating out + beer so not going to attempt SBD till Sunday), so am currently trying to work and cram last minute reading of the book. It's like school exams all over again.
TGIF all!

If you break down, at least have whole wheat carbs so you won't get the blood sugar crash. If you are having a problem hanging in with Phase 1, you can move to Phase 2. Phase 1 helps you drop water weight for a mental boost, and basically breaks you down so you're grateful for a cup of rice later on.
It is perfectly fine to go to Phase 2. Whatever keeps you closest to plan is the right choice.
I have fell off the wagon a bit...........but I am not worried. I will just climb right back on!
He brought them to me at work, so I am SHARING in hopes they are all gone by the time I leave in the am! lol.
Not that I am blaming all on him mind you, I know I am just as much to blame, if not more.

to all that need it!!!!
My A1C went from 9.6 down to a 7.2! (They like you to be under 7) So I am ALMOST there! Woo-hoo! A1C for those who do not know, is a way of measuring your blood glucose levels over 3 months.
(they like them to be under 200) He said all my other levels were fine, except my "Good" Cholesterol levels could be a little higher, but they were not that bad, they were 35 and they like them to be at least 40. But all in all, he was very pleased, with me. As for my DH, his were very high. So he put him on medication and I have been making DH take the fish oil pills that I take.
He was very very proud of my blood test results.
