  • What are your top five workout songs playing on your ipod at the moment?

    Mine:

    Neyo- Closer
    Flo rida- elevator
    Chris Brown- Forever
    Kanye West- homecoming
Timbaland and J. Timberlake - Release

Hip hoppy stuff always makes me wanna dance/move in general!

    What are your top five?
  • I couldn't survive without listening to my ipod when I walk. I listen to audio books and podcasts. Right now I'm listening to Pillars of the Earth. It's 40 hours long and an awesome book and my rule is that I can only listen to it when I walk. If I don't walk for a few days I get itchy cause I want to know what's going to happen next.
  • I've been doing podcasts when I'm at home on my exercise machine (mostly NPR "This American Life" or "Science Fridays" -- I'm a dork), and music when I'm out walking. I don't know why, but that's what I do! I just made a playlist for walking -- it's got 37 songs on it! Ha! Right now, 5 songs that get my booty shaking are...

"What's the Altitude" by Cut Chemist
    "Mouthwash" by Kate Nash
"Toxic" by Britney Spears (I know! I know! Poor Britney. But this song makes me move!)
    "The Underdog" by Spoon
"I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor" by Artic Monkeys

    Great thread!
  • I have a running playlist - songs that are the perfect tempo for jogging at 5 or 6 mph. My top five of the moment (and this changes a LOT ) are:

    1. Sour Cherry - The Kills
    2. I Want to Save You - Something Corporate
    3. Lose Yourself - Eminem
    4. Girl Like That - Matchbox Twenty
    5. Sk8er Boi - Avril Lavigne (this song is kind of annoying, but the beat is perfect)
  • Ya know, interestingly enough, sometimes I don't need high energy, hip hop, rock your body music to get going. (usually, yes though) but sometimes slow, soothing relaxing music keeps me focused, concentrated and centered. So sometimes I go Jewel, Sarah McLaughlin, that route. Anyone else?
  • i have a huge mix of music on mine...

    1. Days go by - Keith Urban
    2. Livin on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
    3. Save the Last Dance - Michael Buble
    4. Come Fly with Me - Frank Sinatra
    5. Burning Love - Elvis
  • I've got serious Ipod ADD....my favorites change a lot, and I get bored quickly. But the ones that get me going right now are...

    1) Switch - Will Smith
    2) All I Want to Do - Sugarland
    3) Work It - Nelly w/Justin Timberlake
    4) That Song in My Head - Julianne Hough
    5) In Love with a Girl - Gavin DeGraw
  • Mindiv! I forgot about that switch song! I downloading it tonite!
  • I love this! My Ipod is the thing that keeps me going to the gym! I usually do podcasts...sports podcasts, PTI and ATH. But when I do the treadmill I listen to a lot. Right now my top five are:

When I grow up- the pussycat dolls
    I'm Shakin-Rooney
If I never see your face again-Maroon 5 ft Rihanna
    Believe- The Bravery
    Damaged-Danity Kane
  • It seems mine are always changing but here are a few that I love:

    Stronger - Kanye West
Toy Soldier - Britney Spears (actually anything from her "Blackout" album is great!)
    Damaged - Danity Kane
    Low - Flo Rida
None of your business - Salt n peppa

again these are just a few
  • Pump Up the Jam - Technotronic
Gonna Make You Sweat - C&C Music Factory
Clubbed to Death - Rob D
    Walk - Pantera

    and...I know, this is odd...

The Twist - (newer version by) Chubby Checker and The Fat Boys

Why so many different music styles? They all have good beats.
  • My top 5 are:

    Crazy B*tch - BuckCherry
    Twisted Transistor - Korn
Your Love is a Lie - Simple Plan
    Fake It - Seether
    Riot - Three Days Grace

I like angry music when I'm working out lol
  • I like like a nice mix of strong beats. Kanye is just for fun.

    Kanye West - Workout plan
Mason vs. Princess Superstar - Perfect Exceeder (Best lyrics: "Watch me work it, I'm perfect!")
Ida Corr Vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It
Janet Jackson ft Khia - So Excited (Bimbo Jones Club Remix)
Maroon 5 (Feat. Rihanna) - If I Never See Your Face Again
    Shapeshifters - Lola's Theme
Bodyrockers - I Like The Way You Move

Perfect Exceeder and Let me think about it are the songs that the intro music to the 2007 Victoria's Secret show was mixed together from. Incidentally Bodyrockers was in the soundtrack the year before that. They always have some good energetic music in the VS show.
  • Some of my fav's right now:

Fire (Sexy Dance) - Paulina Rubio
    Hammerhead - The Offpsring
    B.O.B. - Outkast
The Cup of Life - Ricky Martin
    Party Hard - Andrew WK
    I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry
F*ck the Pain Away - Peaches

And they're not favorites yet because I just downloaded these:

Switch - Wil Smith (thanks MindiV!)
A Little Less Conversation (JXL Radio Edit Remix) - Elvis Presley
Pump Up The Volume - MARRS
