Talking about his YOU: Ageing book, but that's ok, we still like to hear what he has to say!
Cindy
Thanks for the heads up, Cindy.
My hubby is taking me out to dinner tonight. It will be only the 3rd time I haven't eaten at home in the 7+ weeks I've been on YOAD. Once had dinner at a friend's house, she's on Weight Watchers so that's OK. Last week I was out of town with a friend and we had to have lunch at a fast food place but I was able to use the recommendations in the book. For the most part it is so much easier to get started when you eat at home. I planned on starting this program at a time of year when there aren't too many distractions.
We're going to a tapas place and I have been on their website planning for the evening. I'm looking forward to it and know I can get through the evening OK.
Dr. Oz was on again yesterday - it was part 2 of his ageing show. I think they have a lot of good things to say about what we all need to do to help ourselves age more gracefully. I think I'll be buying that book and trying to incorporate a lot of their suggestions.

I saw the show and got inspired for the first time in a long time. I have the diet book, now I have the aging book and I love it! I was wondering, have any of you had sucess on the diet?
Thanks!
Come on over to our August chatter thread - a couple of the gals are just now talking about the success they've had. In addition, we had another gal, Patti, who lost 60# on YOAD, and there was also mrsquadcrew, who I think is still around 3FC (but doesn't post here anymore) who lost even more than that last year on YOAD.
Cindy
Sorry I missed it, did anything he say in particular stand our?
