At the beginning of my puberty facial hair started coming out but they were to thin so make-up could cover them. 4 years ago they started becoming too thick and as I have PCOS and I am quite dark skinned they really show. I have them on upper lip, all over the cheeks and chin. Quite horrible.
My first deal with them (I take contraception and glucophage btw) was thermolysis and it was really fine. The specialist would shave the hair and shoot the light. It would take the hair 4 weeks to re-grown and they got fine (but still not fine enough to be covered). Later on the treatment changed with the hair getting removed by sugary wax that irritated my skin to oblivion.
My next option was waxing with a special brand called Nair. Anyways it had chamomile in and it was not sugary wax so it really did miracles with me (and I had no scarring). I had a lot of stock of this stuff brought here from back home but I have run out of it. Now I am facing a problem as the brand cannot be found in the UK.
I hesitate to use chemical facial-hair creams as I am afraid of skin irritation. I have an electric epilator at home for body and face but 1. it says individual face hair (and mine are not what you can call individual) and 2. I 'd rather not risk facial scarring.
How do you deal with facial hair ladies? Has anyone ever used an epilator (I have an aunt that loves hers but her skin and mine are totally different). I resent having to face the next 2 months hairy.

Pah at least it was good to vent.
