I am new to 3FC but I'm excited to be here. I have been looking for support from somewhere and I think this is going to be perfect. It's unbelievable how many people joined just today. That is so cool. I've already blogged on the new free blogs if you want to check it out. I have to say, thanks in advance for the help you all will give me.

This is really a GREAT site to be on if you're trying to lose weight. You'll find out really fast how supportive and fun everyone can be - It really makes it seem so much better knowing there's people who can relate to you! I'm pretty much addicted to the site.
I restarted my diet yesterday after discovering how much I actually weigh right now - Yikes! This is my second diet while a member of 3FC, but I plan to really make this count! I look forward to seeing you around on the boards!

So I have a question. How do I get a real picture of me to show up when I write something. I have chosen two pictures but they won't upload. Am I missing something?

Try asking that question on the "Announcements and Forum Help" board (it's above the Goal board on the main page. The mods watch that one for questions and can help you get your pic uploaded or decipher the problem.

Hi Writermom . . . I notice you have a picture on your profile.

If you can get one to upload there you should be able to get it to upload to the avatar area as well. Usually the only thing that would prevent it would be the pixel count of the picture, but the same size restrictions pertain to your profile picture as well; and the system will usually tell you if size is the problem.

Since you haven't been a member long enough, you can't have a signature yet so if you were trying to upload a picture to your signature that's why that won't work.
