No, not really-I wouldn't bore anyone with that! Just a brief intro.
I am Callie, married for 34 years and the mother of 7 children, all grown up now (one in heaven). They are two boys, ages 33 and 32, and girls ages 30, 28, 26 and 19. Only the 19 year old is at home.
Between child number 3 and child number 4 I lost 53 pounds. (I am short so it really showed too). I have kept it off all these years, however, now I seem to battle about 10 pounds that's been creeping up the last three or four years. I lose some of it but it just won't stay off! (I WAS put on oral steroids for asthma about 4 years ago and my Dr feels that is part of the issue!)
So, my goal now is to lose that 10 pounds. Perhaps to find out why I gained it back after almost 30 years and what I need to do differently now.
Clearly I have either changed something slightly without realising it OR my metabolism has changed enough that I need less calories/more exercise.
I admit to quite a bit of frustration-I worked VERY hard to lose that weight-AND to learn to exercise and be fit-I hate to revert now.
Hopefully I will learn something new here AND be able to help or give some advice, if there is anything I have learned that may help someone else! Heaven knows my kids don't take my advice very often! LOL

to the group!
