i am trying to start a meeting in my town...I guess there used to be one here about 10 years ago but it fizzled out. I pray that the time is right and that God will bless this meeting.
Lisa, how wonderful for you to start this. How far along are you with the starting? Do you have a meeting place and time set yet? Our newspaper allows free ads for 12 step programs. Bulletins at churches is another good place to post a notice or their bulletin boards. I'm going to check out and see if I can put some lifelines in doctors offices this week too.
Anything I can do to help I will, this is a slow journey which sometimes one feels all alone but remember your HP is always with you.
You two are "going to any lengths" for recovery. You rock! Starting a meeting is both a tremendous service to yourself and to others. So many will be blessed by your efforts.
