Calorie Count Books?

  • As the title says, I'm looking for a good book that lists the calorie counts for foods. Usually, I use the internet for label-less items, but since I'm going to be traveling around a bit this summer... I need some way to have the information and bring it with me.

I'm not looking for something too huge and chunky, just something portable with a large amount of foods listed. Any recommendations?
  • I bought the Biggest Loser Complete Calorie Counter Book. It's GREAT! It's very small too. So small that I can fit it in my purse. I bought it from Target and it was around 5.00. Hope this helps!
  • I highly recommend Calorie King , it has loads of info and is easy to carry.Calorie King is also on line www.calorieking.com.
  • I second the Calorie King book. I use it almost every day and it is small enough to stash in my purse when we go out. I LOVE it!!
  • Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I think I'm going to order the Calorie King book, as I did a search on Amazon and it has great reviews there, too.
  • I bought the Calorie King book at Walmart for $6.97 after reading this thread this morning. I am really surprised at how much info that is packed into that small of a book! My old calorie counter is from 1984 and I can never find half the stuff. Everything in this book has been really easy to find so far.
  • Wow, I was going to order it online, but it's good to know that they have them at Wally World. I've been intending to go there to see if I can find some hand weights, anyway. Hopefully I'll add to all of the positive reviews for it soon ^o^
  • I indeed will be checking these out. Thank you!!
