Need Advice re: Pasta

  • Hi - I'm new to this site and looking for some advice as I prepare to go on to Phase 2 of SB. Was wondering if Fiber Gormet Light Whole Wheat Pasta is ok to use on SB? The ingreds are: whole wheat flour, modified wheat starch, wheat glutten. For 2oz uncooked the NI is: 130 Cal, Total fat 1g, Sat fat 0, Trans fat 0, Sodium 120mg, total carb 43g, Dietary Fiber 18g, Sugar 2g, protein 7g. I know I can't have pasta very often. Has anyone ever tried this pasta? If not, could you recommend a good whole wheat brand? I've never used whole wheat pasta before. Thanks much!
  • i wouldn't use it. i only use 100% whole wheat pasta which is getting easier and easier to fine in the grocery stores.
  • i agree w/nessa. i use 100% whole grain spelt pasta..modified starches always up my cravings!

    I agree on the pasta advice. Even here in the Great White North we can find 100% whole wheat pasta. Go for it.
