Christie and Sherri- I think it is great that you are both co -leaders. You can be a big help to each other. You both are so special to me and I am here anytime. If I don't know the answer we can get Summer to tell us.

We are very fortunate to have so many executive board members here. We can help each other. As some of us know our chapter members expect us to have all the answers and we don't .

Nita You and your buddy are doing so good. You are such a giving person. With your buddy,your husband, your friend whose son/husband are sick. Just don't forget to take care of yourself. I know because my husband is always telling me to remember that I can not take care of the whole world. Another word for us other than givers would be softies. I am looking forward to seeing you at SRD. Our group is not doing anything as usual. I am hoping that will change next year. My assistant weigh recorder has gone to bike week. Doytona is a busy place.

CoCo I also hate doing food charts. But I know it helps and I will be pushing doing them big time this coming year. It is a known fact that most people eat more than they realize. And food charts have been extremely helpful to anyone that uses them

you all can call me Wendy, I did that to get my last name out of it, just to make me more comfortable.
So if I see Wendy- i won't be mad. I kinda like that name, too.lol I have a girls night out tonight, and I was able to get into my size 16 pants, so I don't have to hem my other ones. When I walked into the kitchen with them on, my hubby whistled. That made me feel great too. he really hasn't been able to tell alot of the weight coming off, until recently. Our pilot light went out on our hot water heater. Very windy here. And we are surpose to get the puppy sometime today. The leader of our group emailed me with some of her thoughts, and they are great. Starting the meeting at 5:00 with exercising, or walking. Also, staying late to do some more walking instead of going to (i know) Mcdonalds. It seems that they have been doing that for a long time for their cheat day. I told her both ideas are great, however I can't stay that late, cuz we have dinner then, and I then I have to help get brandon ready for bed.

coco-the scale will start showing a loss, you hang in there. Remember muscle weighs more than fat. And you are probably loosing inches. Sometimes that keeps me going. So I try to keep track of that, when the scale isn't being as friendly as i like.
Eleni- have a great day. ps.lol today is only Saturday, but I know how you feel. when I woke up I couln't remember what day it was either, till I thought about it. Thank God it is only sat. cuz that would mean, I had a really great time last night (if it was Sunday) and don't remember any of it.

Good Morning ladies
Not much going on here. Just having a lazy day. The hubby went with the neighbor to town. Son is helping a neighbor. So I am home alone.
This thread kinda threw me this morn. Thought have I missed something.
Thanks Shortstacks. I am writing down what I eat. And I finally took my measurements yesterday. I wasnt going to. But I faced that tape measure. So I thougth in a month I would measure again and see if there is any difference.
Sherri how was your evening? Hope you had a nice time.

My hubby and I are going to start walking. We are signing up for a thing called. Walk 100 miles in 100 days. My sister-in-law is going to be a team captain in her office at work. Asked if we wanted to do this. Said yes. Thought this might help get me motivated to get in some excersie everyday. You can also do any aerobic exercise for 20 minutes and that counts as a mile. So hopefully when I start this I will see some difference on the scales and in inches. Have been riding my exercise bike. Been doing 4 miles on it.

Think I will fix steak salads for supper tonight. Not sure what time son will get home. So that is quick and easy.

Hey girl what can I say. You are down a whole size. That is great. See your hard work is paying off and people are starting to notice. I would feel so great about the whistleing also. I hope you enjoyed your night out with the girls. What did you do? Fill us in on your excursion.LOL See there is getting to be less and less of you girl. You are heading in the right direction. I liked your idea with the group. Did you know that tops has a walking thing. Where you keep track of your miles or something and you get rewarded from headquarters by accomplishing so many miles. I don't know how it works. Does anyone here know how it works. Maybe your group could start that going.

I am so glad that you had such a great birthday. And for you to have cake and then give the rest to your daughter so it wasn't in the house was a great thing for you to do. That shows that you mean business with the weightloss journey you are on and you will be a winner. Everytime you do something like that it makes you a winner because it puts you that much closer to your goal. As far as co leader goes. Thank you. I am looking forward to it now myself. I will need a lot of help from you ladies on here. It is great to see so many leaders and co leaders here. We can all exchange ideas. And for those of you that are not leaders or co leaders you can give us your ideas anyway. It is nice to get ideas from others that you might not have thought of. You are a great person and you will make a great leader again. You really care about the members and that is saying a lot right there. Not all leaders really care like you do. Keep up the great work and remember to get back on track on Monday morning. Make time for richard tomorrow to. How was dinner tonight?

As for me. I am doing great. I had chineese last night unexpectedly. We were going to the buffet but I went a different way this time and I took the wrong exit so we went to another buffet. Not realizing that it was 95% chineese. So we ate there because we had already paid. It was not what I wanted but I ate anyway. Eating that stuff makes me gain 5 lbs automatically because of all the sodium in it. So today I didn't eat only dinner then a snack afterward. Also I drank 5 cups of green tea to try and wash the sodium out of my system. I was not hungry all day so that was good. I ate enough last night to last me the whole week anyway.LOL But I am back on track today. Had to have another sugar test done. By my regular doc this time. It is a different kind of test. She thinks I might have the type II diabetes. So now I am nervous. I will know something in a week. I hope I don't have it but at least I am eating the way I should if I do have it which is good.

Have a great night everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. The wind is going to blow our house over it is so strong here tonight. It is supposed to get up to 60 MPH. So that is not good.

Our night alone was okay. But when we dropped her off my nephew was throwing up. So I was not going to let her stay. But she wanted to stay so bad. They said come back after dinner and then we will see how he is. We stopped back and he was fine but got sick again before we left. She ended up staying and it was nice to have the time alone. But we didn't know what was going to happen if we were going to be bringing her home or not. But I went shopping for easter for her today. Which was nice and spent the day by myself doing what I wanted to do and it was so nice.
We did get a popup. We got the one that my husbands brother had bought. It needs to be fixed but my husband can fix it. Also there is no payment there. Only 300.00 so that was a steal and it is a nice one with the screened in tent that goes off the front of it. He couldn't fix it himself so he got frustrated and sold it to us. He sold it to me the other day then when my husband told him how to fix it he renigged on the deal. I was not happy. But he did sell it to us today. He has the money for it and it is a done deal. Now my husband just has to fix it which is no big deal for him then it will be good as new. I am glad we got it. My husband has been wanting one for a few years now. So that is good and I like the no payment part of it.LOL
