Get out of my way I'm coming through. It was a gorgeous day and my DH decided it was time to get the bikes down and see if they still are rideable. Well...they are and I did!!! I haven't ridden my bike in four years, and "feels good now, I knew that it would now!" The up-grades just about killed me and I didn't get pinched once on my "big-girl" seat! Mostly we did yard work and planted garden, but I was on my BIKE again. Oh, to move and be active again, is a dream come true. When I think about where I've come from physically and where I'm hopefully going, WOOT! WOOT! I thank God everyday for giving me a chance at life again. My DH and I walked to church this morning, and it is about 1 1/2 mile round trip. Remember I'm talking about an old geezer here "57" in June!!! Take heart all of you youngster, if I can get going then you should be leaving me in the dust. Now about the riding lawn mower: I've had the seat back as far as I could get it to accommodate my big, fat belly and my gut still rubbed the steering wheel. I had to pick my leg up and throw it over the steering wheel to get on the darn thing. It jars the crap out of my back and I would walk hunched over for an hour after getting off that thing. Now, I'm going to have to move the seat up and.....I can carry my water bottle between my legs on the seat!!!! Still jars the crap out of my back, but I'm useful and can help out in the yard like a normal person!!!
Catch you all later on the losing side of the bench. Whitelion, you okay? Are they working you to death?
