I started a new thread couple of weeks ago about not being able to lose weight even though I was eating healthy and exercising. Last week I decided to exclude
bread, grains and vegetables that are high in carbs. I'm not following Atkins diet because I still eat lots of vegetables and fruits, and I don't consume too much fat. In just one week I dropped 2 pounds.
Here's an example of my daily menu:
Breakfast: Omelette made with 4 egg whites and a slice of low fat cheese. I eat my omelette with a half of cucumber and a tomato
Snack: I just pick a fruit
Lunch: Salad made with either chicken breast or fish (I use low fat salad dressings and apple cider vinegar)
Snack: 15 cashews or a fruit or boiled egg whites
Dinner: Chicken/fish and vegetables
Late night Snack: skim milk or a fruit
I cook my fish and chicken with some olive oil and I usually add some olive oil in my salad.
What do you guys think about my new diet? Is it healthy?
