The opposite is true for me, actually. When I am in school, I have a schedule that keeps me focused and out of the refrigerator. Weekends and breaks are so hard for me.
However, why don't you use the 2 hour hunger pains to your advantage and eat small, 100 calorie meals, like cheese sticks or apple slices, at those times? I eat dinner at 4pm too, but usually have another 100 calories a few hours later.
Is there a reason you can not eat small, quick meals when you are hungry? I know some schools frown upon teachers eating in their classrooms. Luckily, I have no such restrictions.

i eat small meals regularly through the day....
its enuf to keep my appetite supressed....
il get up at 7 and have my flakes....
have a piece of fruit at 10....
another at 1....
at 4 i do my hour exercise for the day....
and at half 5 i eat my evening meal....
maybe it might be worth splitting your meals up a bit more....
not eating more, just the same but at different times of day....
i also find water helps as a hunger supresant....
I teach early too. I find eating a good amount of protein for breakfast keep sne full a little longer.
I teach too, and my biggest problems come when other teachers bring food to share - doughnuts in the teacher center and that kind of thing. I pack my lunch and snacks most days, and I do eat frequently (but I eat many times throughout the day when I'm not at work too). Just make sure to pack healthy things and keep track of calories. By the way, 1500 calories a day is great! You don't want to go too much below that anyway (1200 at lowest) or you can stall your weight loss by messing with your metabolism.
Good luck!

There is food everywhere always!
Hi,
Teachers love to eat and there is always bad food everywhere. I do not have to go far to get any bad food I want. I hate it.
When I was teaching if I didn't eat a hearty breakfast I was hungry all day even after supper. I seldom snacked at school unless I had skipped breakfast or had a light breakfast. And, yes, there is always something to be found in the staff room-junk, junk, junk. If you can't eat a big breakfast or any breakfast early in the morning, can you take breakfast to school with you and eat before classes begin? Then you could have a healthy snack at break time and then it's lunch and then another snack after school and then dinner.
