I WAS TOLD BYE THE DOCTOR I JUST WENT TO FOR MY EAR. THAT IF YOU TAKE YOUR WAIGHT AND DIVIDE IT BY 2 THATS HOW MANY OZ OF WATER YOUR SUPPOSED TO DRINK A DAY. THATS SOMETHING I NEVER NEW. THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP SOME PEOPLE.
i have heard that before too and i tried it! It DID NOT work for me! I ended up actually retaining water and fellign bloated all the time! I went back to drinking my 64oz a day and it that works for me!
Well, I Thought It Might Make Me Retain Water Too So I Started Taking 2 Water Capsules A Day With My Water So Im Hopein I Dont Retaine The Water. But This Is Only My 2nd Day So We'll See.
There are a lot of myths out there about water. Doctors are no less immune to them than dieters.
There is no credible research that shows that 8 glasses a day are necessary or even optimal for weight loss, clear skin, general health, improved sexual functioning, cleaning out toxins, and whatever else clueless women's mag journalists decide to claim next. (WRT to the toxins claim, there's some credible evidence that drinking a lot of water *reduces* the kidney's ability to act as a filter.)
Best practice: unless you're running a marathon, drink when you're thirsty or you need something to do with your hands.
