Cream of wheat - core or not?

  • I read in the smaller 1st week booklet that cream of wheat is core. But reading in the complete food guide, it says that it is not. Now I am really confused. Help?
  • Per WW on Line, whole wheat cream of wheat is core. Regular is not. HTH
  • I have NEVER seen whole wheat cream if weight. Is it new? Is that why it changed?
  • The front alphabetical portion of the Complete Food Companion, 2008 edition, says Cream of Wheat and Farina are Core. No distinction is made about "whole grain".
  • My understanding was that the old fashion cream of wheat that you boil for a few minutes is Core but the instant kind is not. Hope that this helps.
  • This is what is so confusing to me. Some places say yes, some say no. I do ww at home, or eles i would ask the leader.
  • Lauralee-What I said about the Cream of Wheat came from my leader. Not sure if that helps or not.
  • Oh! ok. Yeah that does help! Thank you.

I think I will count it has core. When I am on core I only have one bowl or so a week.
  • when I was on Core and attending weekly meetings I ate it every day with an egg and lost. So, don't worry
