Anyone Juicing and Counting Calories?

  • I'd love to be able to add an extra snack to my day- who wouldn't! I was thinking tonight while juicing and emptying all the pulp that the pulp may account for some of the total Calories. Juicing can add up quickly, unfortunately.

    I add pulp back for lost fiber, but not nearly all that the juicer produces.

    To be on the safe side I always just account for the entire fruit. However, if anyone knows better give me a shout. Or if you just juice and want to share a favorite blend then share away!
  • Sorry, FB, I don't know anything about juicing. Whatever you are doing, it seems to be working well for weight loss, though!

  • OMG! I saw the title of your post and my first thought was baseball players on "the juice" and wondered why someone at 3FC would want to do "that"

    I think you would be correct in counting the entire fruit if you are adding back the pulp. My favorite is blueberries & blackberries with about 1/4 cup of chocolate soy milk blended in. Yum!
