In my exercise time

  • As some of you know my form of "exercising" is taking photography. I just love walking around outdoors and taking photos of anything and EVERYTHING that means something to me and gives me a story. Well, tonight I decided to create a blog just for my photography. Right now I just have one photo posted but I will be posting more a few days at a time. I would like ya'll to view it if you want. I think sometimes this forum restricts sites so if the link below doesn't work please send me a private message and I'll give you the link there.

Speaking of exercise time, what do you all do in your "exercise" time???
  • I try to do a full-body weight lifting routine 3 times a week (something like: deadlifts/romanian deadlifts, push-ups, power step-ups on a box, kettlebell rows, lat pull-downs and some planks in between to get my heart rate down so I can do this in an interval fashion). I also do cardio kickboxing once a week and a yoga class once a week. At least, that's the schedule I have set up for myself right now. This week was a loss--only one lifting session and one yoga class, my hip has been KILLING me
  • I walk my dogs.
  • The link worked for me. It is now in my favorites. That is such a beautiful photo and the message, too. Once again proving just how beautiful you are.

If I'm on the treadmill, during my walking minutes I read, of course.
  • I've tried that, walking and reading at the same time. I just can't grasp it. lol. I do want to try reading on a stationary bicycle whenever I get one. Reading and comprehending should be easier.
  • oh, I want to tell you also that on my blogger you can click the link on the bottom of the page to subscribe to the feed.
  • I listen to audio books as an alternative to reading while exercising. It's the same deal, except I can actually work really hard at the same time. Lifting weights? Doing HIIT? No problem! I love audio books
  • Yeah, the reading and walking thing is something I started doing when I was walking to work a few years ago. Now that I run for more minutes than I walk, I don't get as much covered.

Azzie, I never thought about doing to books on tape. That would make it much easier. I should try that.
