woo ok that was not SO bad

  • We signed up for a Gym this last Monday and we have went a total of 3 times. The first time we did ok but not as long as I would of liked. I couldnt stay on one machine more then 10 minutes without feeling like I was going to fall over!

    The next day we used their pool and I did 10 laps again felt dead after.

    I had set a goal to use a machine for 30 minutes straight with NO Break at all and no whinning ( ok with less whinning)

    I did it tonight! Not only did I do 30 minutes straight I also went on to lift weights for 15 minutes and 15 minutes on a bike. I then got to sit in the wet Sauna and relax!

    I am not as tired as I thought I would be. I AM tired and I dont think I could work out more tonight but I dont feel like I am going to die over lol!


    I hope to beable to do 35 minutes by sunday night and hope within a month I can do 60 minutes.


    This is not a easy task as I have lupus I am type 1 diabetic and within the last year have had some health issues with my lungs and stomach. BUT i did it and I will continue to try to keep going!

  • That's great!!! You just keep at it, and you'll hit your goals in no time. Take good care of yourself!
  • Sounds like you are doing great and setting some real good goals for yourself. Give yourself time and you will meat all your goals and be right where you want to be. Remember the turtle won the race no matter how fast the rabbit thought it could run.

  • thanks. I just knew I would wake up really sore today. BUT I am not!! I can feel I worked out but I am not to sore! Guess the suana worked !
  • I worked out again today. I did 35 minutes on one machine and burned 400 cal. I then went and did 20 crunches on another machine and jumped right on a bike. I did 35 on the bike. I can say with a smile as wide as Texas that I worked out today for 13.7 miles!! I got to sit in the sauna for 15 minutes after( I call the sauna my treat!)
    I am very excited!!! I just hope this will work to help me lose weight and make me a more healthy person.

  • thanks I did 90 minutes today after a 4 day break ( had way to much going on my dd bday my best friend had surgery for throyid cancer just to much) so I stepped it up today and did 90 min and i think it was 10 incline set ups ( them was HARD) i'll try to add one a day until i get to more of them!
