I'm waiting for some books to come in at the library. I pulled a bunch of books on protein power and one of the exercise books had their endorsement. It is called "Slow Burn" by Fred Hahn and looks to be about slow and deliberate resistance training. the kicker is that the results come at 2 sessions of 15 minutes per week.
Anyone heard of this or have a story about it?
I loaned the book to a friend. and though I have not tried it it has many very good merit points to it. just did not seem the same as a good killer workout though at this time in my life a good slow burn would be nice. i may go and get the book back.
Yes, done it. It is intense but you do get very good results with little time commitment. I would recommend doing some cardio or other form of exercise on your off days.

There are a couple free podcasts on itunes where they coach you on this. Do a search on "stin"...she's got several podcasts but I think there is a specific one for the slow burn routine.
If you're into the HIIT, she's got a couple of those that are great also. It's amazing how someone coaching me helps me get through 20 minutes of intense exercise.
