Just wanted to let you all know that I am home and doing good. Everything went according to plan the doc said. I did have an allergic reaction to the Mophine and still a little itchy from that. I will write more later.

Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers sent my way. They mean a lot to me.

Now just get some rest and take it easy. I was surprised how I was knocked on my behind from this operation. I've always bounced back quickly from things but like DH reminded me....I've never had things "rearranged" before

I too had that same reaction to the Morphine...it was awful. Then the next medicine they gave me for pain made me sick...YUCK!!!

Take it easy and I look forward to posting more with you when you are able to do so....

i'm so proud of you!!!! and of all the new surgery group! nothing is easy, and you've all kept your sense of humor.

however, for all of you who had bad reactions to the morphine - thank goodness there was a good alternative. as for me, however, morphine and i were VERY HAPPY together!

morphine was my friend too, however when they had to give me a pain pump 2 weeks after my surgery, that made me break out in hives everytime i pushed the button. it was demerol. we were old friends due to my migraines so i will miss him. he always made me feel better.
