Tuesday 2-19-02

  • Well I had a great loss last night.
    -2.5 pounds actually. I feel great.
    I just put in 20 min. of walking .67 miles.
    We can do this.

    Well I called about my test results from the diabetes test. It was a little high. So I have to be tested again in 5 weeks. They are going to do my sugar level after fasting and after I have eaten a regular meal. That way they will have more info to go by. I can't imagine what the numbers would have been if I hadn't been doing the SB plan for almost 4 weeks. It would have been a lot higher I am sure.
    So I guess I have a great reason to stick to my plan. The lab tech said that I have to lose weight and control my sugar intake in order to keep it under control so I don't have to take any meds for it. So I guess I am going to stick with the SB plan for the rest of my life. I don't want to have to take my levels everyday and prick myself with the needles to do it. I want to avoid all that so I will be good like I have been.
    She also said I have to exercise. I told her I have been and that I have been doing the SB plan and cut out potatoes and beets and stuff like that. So I think diet alone will help a lot in my case. I am so thankful I started this plan.

    My stomach is much better today. I did get in 30 min of exercise aerobic type while watching Boston Public last night. So now I have to exercise today and tomorrow and I will be done for the week.
