Hey everyone, I've been a fan of 3fatchicks for a while and finally mustered up the motivation to join their forums. So I'm 20 years old, a college sophomore and I have about 75 pounds more to lose before I get to my goal weight of 145. I've battled with my weight for most of my life, and now I am finally coming to terms with the fact that I need to love myself as I am before I can hope to make changes.
I'm just curious to see if there are other college/grad students out there who are going through the same thing because we all know - it's tough. My last few weeks have had definite mishaps, but as they say, take it one day at a time. I do have a wordpress blog tracking my progress, reviews of weight loss products, and recipes. The wordpress username is the same as mine here. Feel free to check it out!
Also: If this is of interest, I recently reviewed the Dorm Room Diet by Daphne Oz and I am working on reviewing Secrets of A Former Fat Chick.
Good luck to you all! I've been reading through quite a few posts and I'm so encouraged by all of you.

Good luck to you! I am doing this on my own (I'm doing Weight Watchers but not going to meetings or anything) and 3FC has been my biggest support group and motivation to keep going. I think you'll really like it here!
I came to grad school cos I didn't know what else to do after undergrad and it's basically ****. I can't wait to be done this term.)
So glad to have you with us! The motivation and support on this board and in this whole forum is just awesome...and much needed.
I go to college and work full-time and I think there are a lot of us so we understand all the stuff you're going through. Keep posting, stay with us, and let's all lose some weight together!!!
This weight loss journey has been a bit hard for me. My family members could be more supportive.
I'm representing Biology majors...and a shout-out to biochem minors
