Sunday 2-17-02

  • good morning ladies. All is well here. I walked 1.5 miles yesterday, and already put in .62. I will get back in there later and do somemore. We got a little snow here, and it is still snowing. Nascar racing starts today. Daytona. My husband and son, are going to a buddy's house to watch it. I plan on seeing a little of it, by myself, quite, do some sewing, and finish making the cookies. I'm not sure how they will turn out, the batter was a little soft. I put it in the refrig. in hopes that it will still work. I may have to double everything, to make it come out correctly. I'm going to do a couple of test cookies, and see what happens. Well I still don't have my program finished for tomorrow either. So, I'm going to be busy today. You all take care and weigh in is tomorrow for me. I don't have to work, so I may take Brandon to see the new "return to never, never land". I'm a little nervous about the popcorn. Not sure how I will do there. I'm just gonna have to try and stay focused. Talk to you all soon.
  • Good Morning Just stopping bye for a minute. We went out to beach and walked in parking lot like we did last year til it got too hot for me. I did far better than I thought. I walked about .8 miles. I was more interested in time tho. I got 20 minutes in there and then came home and did 20 minutes with Richard. That is enough for me.
    We are going to go see a "swing musical" this afternoon.
    When I go to the movies I usually get some popcorn but I get the smallest they have.

    I sent you a thread off the SB boards here on the 3fatchicks site. There were a lot of helpful tips on baking and using frutose instead of sugar and cooking with whole wheat flour instead of White flour. It says when using the WW flour you have to use less because it is thicker then the white flour. I thought that was interesting. Maybe these tips will help your cookies come out better.

    The Durum Wheat pasta is legal. They say that the thinner the better so you can cook it a shorter amount of time. It is very confusing. They say that all pasta is made from durum. So I won't have too much of it I will measure it and it should be fine. I only have it for spaghetti anyway.

    Good luck with the popcorn. Like eleni said if you have to have it then get the smallest amount they have. That way you will be satisfied and not overdo it. You will do great at weigh in tomorrow. Good luck with the program. You have a lot planned and a lot of info to share. You will make a great co leader.

    That is great the amount of exercise you got in. Just think you did 40 min total today. I didn't do any.LOL
    You are doing great. How was the program today? Did you and bill have a great time as usual?

    I did great again today. I didn't exercise but I have to try and eat more. I am not even making it to the min. of my range for the points. That is not good. I am eating 3 meals a day and having a fruit for a snack. But I have to eat more and get in more of my milk products that will increase my points automatically. I know your body needs a certain amount of calories a day to operate. So I have to try and eat more. It seems strange to think that I am not eating enough but I am satisfied.
