No motivation today as I am sitting at home waiting on the drain flusher people. It is worse than waiting for the cable guy! Although I have gotten a lot of my emailing done for The American Woman's Club and been working on my short story soooooooooooooooo ....tomorrow *dun dun duuun* the gym will be calling! I can hear that stair stepper screaming my name!

Good morning ladies!!

HOpe everyone had a good night. Having the "Thursday girls" (Cadence's two friends that trade playdates) here today cause one of the kids from school is having a b-day party tomorrow. Other than that, just gonna do laundry and food shopping this am. Also have to get the guitars cut out for the party...I keep putting that off cause I know it's gonna be a JOB!!! Oh, well. I asked Dh if I should use his Roto-zip to cut them, he says he doesn't think it will work well, doesn't really like it, but the only other option is for me to use my bread knife, and that will be dangerous!!! I think I'll just give the roto-zip a try.

So, GG...how awesome is it that you got two free sessions??? Fantastic!!! HOpe you get a good workout in today, and hope your eating is better. I haven't been great myself, but I have been working out six days/week, so I think I am seeing a difference.

Duck..yep, pink skull and crossbones...bad-a** but still cute! Good luck with the pipes today..hope you're not stuck in TOO long!

Things are going well here. It was almost 60 degrees here yesterday. It was beautiful.

DS had vision screenings at preschool. They sent back a note that he might have astigmatism(SP?). SO we have to set up an eye appointment for him. I have astigmatism and was actually his age (3) when I started wearing glasses. I can't imagine putting him in glasses because he is so rough.

Duck I think it is to funny that when we have to wait for someone to show up at the house to fix something it seems like it is endless and there is nothing to do at home, and at least for me the days that I have a lot of stuff to do I rather not be home, LOL.

Hey what kind of toaster did you get? Dh had a Dualit one and he sold it on Ebay and got a mini dualit convection oven that we use as a toaster, I miss the toaster thought, even if I didn't use it all that much.

GG yes I forgot to say how awesome it must be for you to have 2 more sessions w/trainer, that was nice! did she go on the hike w/you? I hope you have an easy day today at work. I though of you this AM when I went downstairs to get breakfast ready for Sean, I didn't feel like making a pot of coffee, instead I made an espresso. MMM... it was sooooo good!

Well today I am feeling a lot better thank G-d! DH is not doing as well. We did hear back from the Dr. last night, he said he thinks Michael has the flu, but if he doesn't start feeling better by the end of the week he does want him to come in and see if he has pneumonia. Everyone around here has the same stuff, my friend Andrea got it now for a second time, she has been in bed for about a month on and off. Sean finally went to school today!!! I was getting really tired of him being bored!
I am going to try to go out for a little short while today, I need to get some fresh air. Right now Zurg and Coco want to desperately go out for a walk, they are both barking at the door and Coco dragged the leash by the door, tip? it is pretty cold out but I guess I should go and get a little cold air! LOL.

Well, all my badness has added up... to a whole pound. Yep, I gained a pound! dang! Am I ever going to be able to eat anything yummy again?. I suppose if I get up off my duff and onto my new treadmill...
Summer will be better too. Way more active in the summer.

We had cheeseburgers with no buns for dinner last night. And a HUGE salad. Not bad, but I really should, for the sake of my cholesterol, get into the Turkey burgers.

My husband has been struggling with mid life issues. It is starting to affect my mood. He feels that he is becoming inadequate as a man and a husband. He thinks it is affecting me in some way. I told him the only thing affecting me is his mood, which is being caused by his own anxiety. We have only been together for 4 years- he is afraid our relationship is changing.
Why are men so silly? I wish there was some way to aleviate his anxiety, but nothing will satisfy him, he is going to have to work through it on his own.

Well, life is pretty boring right now. We have no plans til spring. Then we are going to go camping and fishing up on the Denali Highway. It is really pretty there. Good hiking.

Hanna, Pnuemonia can be very scary. I've had two very bad experiences with it. Not myself but once with dh and once with a person I cared for. I hope DH feels better soon. Is Coco housetrained? I am still having trouble with my dogs and they are almost a year.

Jasmine, Ds has astigmatism also. I think we're on our 6th pair in a few years. Between the two I can't even say...

DS is home today, hopefully he will be well enough tomorrow for school. Nothing exciting going on here.

So much for my perkiness yesterday morning... I slept poorly last night and woke up with a bad sinus headache. No exercise this morning. I went to the grocery store this morning after dropping the kids off at school and I let Brigid pick out two donuts in the case. I'm unpacking my groceries when we got home and no donuts. The gal that checked us out was so chatty and she probably set them in a small seperate bag but forgot to put it in our cart. So, in my head, I'm cursing this chatty chick out. Where's my freakin' donut?! Then I started laughing in thinking what a huge favor that lady did for me. Like I need a donut?????? And, neither does DD:-).

Not having a great day today :-( I know I am making progress. The scale is one pound shy of being back at 184 which is where my old scale had me. I've been going to the gym and had my PT appointment last night (it went really well!)

But today I am just blah! I don't want to worry about what I am eating, I don't want to get off my butt and I'm tired of waiting for these rolls to disappear around my waistline!

Most days I do really good. But I guess when I get down, I really get down lol

Maybe TOM is coming early?
